What a day for LMC track as they were only two points away from finishing in 3rd place and taking home a trophy. Here are some standout performances from today:
- Joey Morrone: 1st place 7/8th grade boys shotput AND 1st place 7/8th grade boys 400 with a time of 56s
- Tommy Sun: 4th place 7/8th grade boys Shotput
- Kennice Simon: 3rd place 7/8th grade girls shotput
- Kettia Salvadon: 2nd place 6th grade girls 200m
- Tyler Washington: 4th place 7/8th grade boys 75m dash
- Yu Jun Chen: 4th place overall in the VERY competitive 7/8th grade 1600m. He broke his own LMC school record by 4 seconds with a mile time of 5.39!
- Taylen Mongiovi, didn’t place, but beat his personal best time in the mile by 53 seconds. Very impressive.
