The 6th grade students and I were so lucky the weather held up as we all enjoyed a day filled with laughter, good company, good food, and lots of fun. Learning also took place since students have been learning about pinnipeds species and today they got the chance to collect data on how often sea otters and harbor seals surface above water. Students had a blast exploring the NY Aquarium with the new shark exhibit and meeting Bruiser the sea lion. Afterwards, they got the chance to eat an actual Nathan’s hot dog and play on the beach. Good times all around!
