Amp Up NY and Little Kids Rock made a special visit to LMC last week, sponsoring public schools funding for the music school program. In addition to donating instruments to the school, the 8th grade musicians in Mr. Traxler’s class jammed with other great artists consisting of two drummers from Billy Joel and a guest singer from Saturday Night Live. Afterwards there was a Q&A session were one of the musicians talked about the opportunity he had when he enrolled in the Berklee summer camp program.
