What is the Wishing Wall? The Wishing Wall is a way for parents to fulfill teacher wish lists. The lists contain items that the teachers would love to have to enhance their classrooms and enrich the experience for their students. For parents, it’s a chance to support specific teachers and provide things that will directly impact their children’s classrooms. This also includes support for specialty teachers, the guidance counselor and speech therapists!
How does it work? It is simple. Teachers and staff submit their wish list of items. Parents look through the wishes and make a contribution towards the cost of fulfilling them. For example, the total cost of a teacher’s wish list might be $475; you could contribute, $10, $20, $50, $100 or any amount you want to go towards the total cost.
What happens if more is collected than needed to fulfill a wish list? We may reallocate funds slightly to make sure that all of our wonderful teachers get some wishes granted. Many thanks for your support!
