At LMC, we strive to create a strong sense of school connectedness by offering students opportunities to build relationships and feel supported. We do this through advisory, collaborative activities during instructional time, and by ensuring access to caring staff members especially when middle school life becomes challenging.
On Friday, advisories + homerooms participated in our first Community Day event of the school year. Community Day events take place monthly and are designed to give students time to socialize, build trust, and strengthen connections within their advisory groups. This first event focused on team-building, with each advisory/homeroom engaging in fun, interactive activities that encouraged collaboration, camaraderie, and mutual respect.
