Welcome back 8th grade families! As many of you are aware the high school process begins in earnest in September. This week I will be speaking with all 8th grade classes to review the process of applying to high school. In support of families, I will be hosting small group information sessions to go over the process and answer any questions. These sessions will begin at the end of September. I encourage you to begin to regularly check the website of the schools you are interested in touring. I will attempt to inform you of as many tours as possible, but the best strategy to ensure you do not miss tours of schools that you want to see is to check with those schools directly, either online or via the High School Directory. There is also a high school search site, that is extremely well laid out and very easy to use, in addition to the new LMC Applying to High School page that has information you may find helpful.

By the end of the week you will receive an email with information on registering for the Specialized High School exam and La Guardia Auditions.
